Guess who had delicious Indian food for dinner?

This mysterious person also paid another visit to the Bell Tower/Drum Tower and the delicious all night cafes to be found in the area. Well, I don't know about all night, but pretty late at least.

No seriously, one guess.

Brian,The 3rd picture(the photo beneath the "Red Hands")What is it?The taxi's dashboard,your hotel room endtable or the "Tiki"shack in your hotel's complex?
See you,

It's the inside of the restaurant. The 'tiki' shack is a shaded chandelier. In the back ground, to the left is a spotlight illuminating a column and beam. For a sense of distance, note the circular fan directly below the spot light.

I think we can all appreciate Bob's powers of free association. Yes, it is the inside of the restaurant: I was hoping people would notice the sweet vestigial wooden joints in the background.

btw I'm staying in my friend's apartment. On top of everything else, navigating a hotel in Beijing would have been way too much for me to handle. There are a lot of places where this city seems barely a breath away from total anarchy, and it's safe to say that I would not have been staying at the JingYa OEC.

Also, Jackie Chan is from Hong Kong. I would LOVE to visit Hong Kong, but my single-entry permit to China says no to that, or yes to an expensive flight from HK back to .jp, which is def not on my to do list.
